EDUCATION PROGRAMS

The grounds and animal care facility at the Wildlife Rescue Center are not open to the public. We invite interested groups to learn more about our work through scheduled education programs.

  • Please check the Education Calendar for program windows that are currently open. On the calendar, click on "Available".
Dates not listed may have conditional availability, on request.

  • Program participants must be of Kindergarten age or higher.

PROGRAMS FOR GROUPS:

On-site programs introduce audiences to the tremendous biodiversity around us and encourage respect for all wildlife and our delicate ecosystems.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES:

The perfect fit for young naturalists! Parties include a behind-the-scenes peek at the rehabilitation facility, an outdoor adventure, and a critter meet and greet.

WILD CHILD NATURE CAMPS:

Come explore our big backyard and see the world from a wild point of view. If you want to learn about your environment, you've gotta get your paws dirty! As campers play through the day, they will engage their senses, tackle the challenges of life in the wild and become confident adventurers in their natural habitat. They will also peek behind-the-scenes in the rehabilitation facility, make enrichment items for the animals, and visit with animal care volunteers.
